Houston Rockets
The Houston Rockets are an American professional basketball team based in Houston, Texas. The team plays in the Southwest Division of the Western Conference in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The team was established in 1967 and played in San Diego, California for four years as the San Diego Rockets, before moving to Houston in 1971.The Rockets won only 15 games in their debut season as a franchise. However, after drafting Elvin Hayes first overall in the 1969 NBA Draft, they made their first appearance in the playoffs in 1969. After Hayes was traded, Moses Malone was later acquired to replace him. Malone went on to win the MVP award twice, and lead Houston to the conference finals in his first year with the team. He also took the Rockets to the NBA Finalsin 1981, but they were defeated in six games by Larry Bird's Boston Celtics which also featured the Rockets current head coach, Kevin McHale.
James HardenJames Edward Harden, Jr. (born August 26, 1989) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Harden played college basketball for Arizona State, where he was named a consensus All-American and Pac-10 Player of the Year in 2009. Harden was selected with the third overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft by Oklahoma City and became the first player drafted in Oklahoma City Thunder franchise history. In 2012, he was named NBA Sixth Man of the Year with the Oklahoma City Thunder while helping them reach the NBA Finals. Harden was traded to Houston prior to the 2012–13 NBA season.
Terrence JonesTerrence Alexander Jones (born January 9, 1992) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the University of Kentucky.Jones was ranked the #8 player in the class of 2010 by Scout.com, the #9 player in the ESPNU 100, and the #13 player by Rivals.com. Jones led Jefferson High School to three straight Oregon class 5A state championships between his sophomore and senior years. As a junior in 2008–09, he averaged 32 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, three blocks and three steals per game.

In 1984, the Rockets drafted Hakeem Olajuwon who, paired with Ralph Sampson and both collectively known as the "Twin Towers", led them to the 1986 Finals in their second and third year respectively, where in another brave effort they lost again to the Boston Celtics
Dwight HowardDwight David Howard (born December 8, 1985) is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Howard, who plays center, had an outstanding high school career at Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy. He chose to forgo college and entered the 2004 NBA draft, and was selected first overall by the Orlando Magic. An eight-time All-Star, seven-time All-NBA team selection, five-time All-Defensive member, and three-time Defensive Player of the Year, Howard has been ranked consistently as one of the best in the league in rebounds, blocks, field goal percentage and free throw attempts, and has set numerous franchise and league records.
Pablo PrigioniPablo Prigioni (born May 17, 1977) is an Argentine professional basketball player who plays for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Standing at 6 ft 3 in (1.91 m), he plays at thepoint guard position.Prigioni began his professional career with Ramallo of the Argentine LNB League during the 1995–96 season. He then moved to the Argentine club Belgrano San Nicolás. In 1998, he transferred to the Argentine club Obras Sanitarias. In 1999, he moved to the Spanish ACB League club Fuenlabrada, where he stayed until 2001.
